My child...the child who would cry (I am serious) if someone tried to give him roast just out-ate me with supper tonight. I picked up a huge roast (4lbs of goodness for only $6) and some potatoes and carrots and broccoli (for him) and this slow cooker pot roast seasoning and set it up to cook while we did laundry today. It was sooooo amazing. The house smells amazing. I just hope that the clothes that we washed today smell like the roast. I'm just waiting until I can move so that I can do dishes. I do love slow cooker cooking. There is hardly anything to wash.

So yeah -

I was listening to the Wicked soundtrack today, despite the fact I've never read the book or seen the musical, and I know most people know the storyline of the Wizard of Oz. I'm curious of how many people have even seen the movie.

Better yet, how many people have actually read the book?

It's become such a pop icon that most people know the whole yellow brick road and ruby slippers (that were actually silver in the book), but most people don't even bother going back to the original source.

Weekend of mostly nothing has turned into weekend of things. XD Today I have work. D: But I've known about that for a while, so. XD

But tomorrow, when I was just going to relax, I'm now going to be going to Nagoya to watch an improv show. XXDD Its hosted by Tsurube Shoufukutei. And apparently the like to film the audience a lot for this show. XD So I'm apparently going to be on TV. oh lol. But it should be interesting. And we'll see how much I get or don't get.. XD

But my weekend is now busy. How did that happen?

And I have some emails that I haven't been able to respond to all week, so I need to do that. I will! I will! I believe!

I have a babysitter for when I'm in the hospital! This makes me very happy since I was thinking I'd have to bring him with me to the hospital and have him sit in the waiting room when they did whatever it is they're doing to my knee. I have to make sure that I'm home Thursday afternoon (and awake) because I have my pre-op interview. I guess since he's doing a spinal I don't have to have blood work done. I need to make sure when I go for my needle on Wednesday to get my weight because they'll need it. I almost laughed when she said I'd have to have all my meds with me to tell the nurse. Oh well. Three weeks and it will be finished.

I'm also going to have to call to set up an appointment to get my hair cut before I go in. It's long enough right now to have pulled completely back in a ponytail. If it wasn't so thick and fluffy it would be fine but I can't do anything with it. I can't forget either to call the student loan office to apply for an extension on my interest relief. I can't afford to pay any student loan payments now, not when I'm going to be off work for the beginning of the year. Josh's birthday is going to suck a bit unless I go back early. Even then I won't get paid till after his birthday.

Right now I'm watching Ghost Hunters International and I swear, I am trying not to die. One thing that has always made me laugh is how, when they're in a place/different country where the language spoken isn't English and these "ghosts" are supposed to understand what they say and all EVP responses are also in English. When you have a person who lived in a time when, for example the one today, spoke nothing but Spanish, how are you supposed to get English responses? <-- Kathy is tired again so ignore this please.

I need to pick up a new set of Christmas cards. I'm so happy that I get paid and Baby Bonus together on the 10th and 11th. Once I pay everything that needs to be paid I'll have about $350 to get groceries, presents, bus tickets and food. We'll only need a week's worth of food because we'll be at my dad's house for the week of Christmas. I told Josh that I would give him some money so he could go and get me something for Christmas. He'll go buy the stuff by himself and either get them to wrap it or wrap it himself. I have some ideas now for him and I hope I can get everything. At least the early present I got him is getting a lot of use. I swear Tan, I don't know what I'd do without you.

I must go and get food. The water is boiling. Tomorrow is roast night and Josh has said that he's going to try it (I said it would like eating steak with gravy, which it is). If he doesn't eat the meat he'll have potatoes, carrots and broccoli to eat and I can always cook up some chicken.
