A very good friend of mine has been working on an original yaoi story named Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Laurabryannan is known for her Samurai Champloo fic, which are deathly hot and good and sad and happy and meaningful, and this fic is more of the same plus her very own. Note: Ummmm...yeah. I wrote an original fic. This is the first of a few stories about the boys who work at Machismo's, an Italian-American restaurant in central Jersey.

Meet Joseph and Monkut.

Joseph is a good boy. He comes from a happy Italian family. He's more or less out, although his family is waiting for him to come back to God. He's waiting tables at Machismo's because he's good with people. After failing out of Rutgers, he doesn't really have a direction.

Monkut is a Thai-American who grew up in Syracuse. He's culturally white, more or less. He wants to cook in The City (i.e. New York). He's a CIA graduate, precise about cooking, with the cocky attitude of a n00b.

MMORPGs and online RPs vs. Real Life.

I've had issues where I get so sucked into the world of MMORPGs and RPs that I ignore other things, like what I should be doing. This creates no end of issues IRL. What are your experiences with this topic? What's the line? Have you had to set limits for yourself? Have you had relationships break down because of it?
